Natalie Larsen was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1979. She earned her BFA from Maine College of Art in 2004, and her MFA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2006. Larsen has been exhibiting her work in galleries and museums across the US for more than a decade, including exhibitions at The Institute of Contemporary Art in Portland, Maine; The Columbus Museum in Columbus, Georgia; and The Torpedo Factory in Arlington, Virginia. In 2019, Larsen was a National Park Service Artist-in-Residence at Mojave National Preserve in California.
